Gourmia’s answer is a single $89 box that claims to do all three jobs: toast, bake, and air fry, with 19 presets so you’re not guessing at temperatures.

We didn’t put this one through a lab. What we did do is go through Gourmia’s own spec sheet line by line, read through the pattern across more than 3,500 written reviews from people who bought it, and check how it stacks up against six other toaster oven and air fryer combos selling in the same price range. Here’s what actually matters if you’re deciding whether to add one more small appliance to your kitchen.

What $89 actually buys you

Gourmia lists the unit at 1700 watts with a 24-liter interior, about 0.8 cubic feet, big enough for a 12-inch pizza, six slices of toast, or a whole chicken at once. It runs off 19 built-in presets, so instead of guessing a temperature and a timer for, say, chicken wings, you tap the wings icon and let it run. The doors are the unusual part: a French-door style that swings open with a single handle pull instead of the drop-down door most toaster ovens use, plus a large viewing window so you can check on food without opening anything.

The air fryer half

Gourmia calls its air fry function FryForce 360, and the company’s own claim is up to 80% less fat than deep frying. We haven’t independently measured that number, so take it as Gourmia’s figure, not ours. In practice it’s a fan-and-heating-element system that circulates hot air around the food the same way a standalone air fryer basket does. The advantage is you skip the second appliance entirely, since the crisping happens inside the same cavity you’d use for toast or a roast.

What buyers who actually own one say

Walmart’s own review-analysis tool, built from the full set of verified purchases, keeps surfacing the same few points: the controls are simple enough that people skip the manual, the price feels fair for what it does, and it looks better on a counter than most toaster ovens in this range thanks to the stainless finish and the double-door front.

The strongest praise in the written reviews is specific rather than vague. One buyer said this model replaced their full-size stove entirely, using it almost daily for pizza, fish, and reheated leftovers. Another switched from a Hamilton Beach convection oven mainly to match the stainless look of a new espresso machine, then found the double doors could fit an entire frozen pizza with one hand free and that the air fry setting worked better than they’d expected. A third reviewer’s tip is worth repeating: the presets run a little hot, so if a preset reads 400°F, they dial it closer to 385°F and get better results.

The one recurring complaint

Not everyone loves the seal. Walmart’s review analysis flags it directly: the doors open easily, but they leave roughly a quarter-inch gap, which lets some heat escape while the unit runs. Spend $50 to $80 more and the two Ninjas edge out Gourmia on rating, but the FO100’s 4.6 comes from only 510 reviews against Gourmia’s 3,516, which makes Gourmia’s 4.4 the steadier number even though it’s a few tenths lower on paper.
