Most kitchen counters only have room for one appliance, not three. A toaster, a small oven, and an air fryer each want their own outlet and their own square foot of space, and most people don’t have three square feet to give up. Gourmia’s answer is a single $89 box that claims to do all three jobs: toast, bake, and air fry, with 19 presets so you’re not guessing at temperatures.

We didn’t put this one through a lab. What we did do is go through Gourmia’s own spec sheet line by line, read through the pattern across more than 3,500 written reviews from people who bought it, and check how it stacks up against six other toaster oven and air fryer combos selling in the same price range. Here’s what actually matters if you’re deciding whether to add one more small appliance to your kitchen.

The short version

  • Price: $89 at Walmart.com, not a limited-time discount
  • Rating: 4.4 out of 5 from 13,200+ shoppers, based on 3,516 written reviews
  • 77% of reviewers gave it 5 stars; 7% gave it 1 star
  • Good fit for: replacing a toaster, an oven, and an air fryer with one countertop unit
  • Not a good fit for: tight counters (24 liters takes real space) or anyone who needs a tight door seal for slow, low-temperature cooking

What $89 actually buys you

Gourmia lists the unit at 1700 watts with a 24-liter interior, about 0.8 cubic feet, big enough for a 12-inch pizza, six slices of toast, or a whole chicken at once. It runs off 19 built-in presets, so instead of guessing a temperature and a timer for, say, chicken wings, you tap the wings icon and let it run. The doors are the unusual part: a French-door style that swings open with a single handle pull instead of the drop-down door most toaster ovens use, plus a large viewing window so you can check on food without opening anything.

The air fryer half

Gourmia calls its air fry function FryForce 360, and the company’s own claim is up to 80% less fat than deep frying. We haven’t independently measured that number, so take it as Gourmia’s figure, not ours. In practice it’s a fan-and-heating-element system that circulates hot air around the food the same way a standalone air fryer basket does. The advantage is you skip the second appliance entirely, since the crisping happens inside the same cavity you’d use for toast or a roast.

What buyers who actually own one say

Walmart’s own review-analysis tool, built from the full set of verified purchases, keeps surfacing the same few points: the controls are simple enough that people skip the manual, the price feels fair for what it does, and it looks better on a counter than most toaster ovens in this range thanks to the stainless finish and the double-door front.

The strongest praise in the written reviews is specific rather than vague. One buyer said this model replaced their full-size stove entirely, using it almost daily for pizza, fish, and reheated leftovers. Another switched from a Hamilton Beach convection oven mainly to match the stainless look of a new espresso machine, then found the double doors could fit an entire frozen pizza with one hand free and that the air fry setting worked better than they’d expected. A third reviewer’s tip is worth repeating: the presets run a little hot, so if a preset reads 400°F, they dial it closer to 385°F and get better results.

The one recurring complaint

Not everyone loves the seal. Walmart’s review analysis flags it directly: the doors open easily, but they leave roughly a quarter-inch gap, which lets some heat escape while the unit runs. For a whole chicken or a pizza that doesn’t need exact timing, that’s a minor issue. It matters more if you’re doing anything that depends on holding a precise low temperature for a long stretch, like slow-roasting or dehydrating. It’s also worth noting in context: 986 of the 13,200 ratings are still 1 star, so the seal (and a handful of other complaints) isn’t nothing, even if it’s a minority experience.

How it compares

We pulled these numbers from the same category on Walmart.com, so the comparison uses prices and ratings from the same source and the same week.

ModelPriceRatingSize classWattage
Gourmia French Door 6-Slice$89.004.4 (3,516 reviews)6-slice / 24L1700W
Black+Decker Crisp ‘N Bake PRO 6-Slice$69.004.5 (2,578 reviews)6-sliceNot listed
Hamilton Beach Easy View XL$74.684.3 (3,032 reviews)6-slice1750W

Ninja French Door FO100$169.004.6 (510 reviews)8-in-1, 6-piece setNot listed

The closest real competitor on paper is the Black+Decker at $69: it rates a touch higher and costs $20 less, but it skips the French-door design and the viewing window, and its rating rests on under three-quarters of Gourmia’s review volume. Spend $50 to $80 more and the two Ninjas edge out Gourmia on rating, but the FO100’s 4.6 comes from only 510 reviews against Gourmia’s 3,516, which makes Gourmia’s 4.4 the steadier number even though it’s a few tenths lower on paper.

Who should buy this, who should skip it

Buy it if

  • You’re consolidating a toaster, oven, and air fryer into one unit and want the biggest interior in this price range
  • You regularly cook for more than one or two people (whole chicken, full pizza)
  • You’d rather have a French-door design than a drop-down door

Skip it if

  • Your counter is genuinely tight; 24 liters is a big footprint next to a basic 4-slice toaster oven
  • You need a tight seal for precision low-temperature cooking
  • You already own a working air fryer and toaster oven and don’t need to combine them

Frequently asked questions

Is FryForce 360 the same as a regular air fryer?

Functionally, yes. It’s a fan-and-heating-element system built into the oven cavity rather than a separate basket unit, so you get the crisping effect without a second appliance taking up space.

Will a 9×13 baking pan fit?

Gourmia doesn’t publish exact interior dimensions beyond the 24-liter figure. Reviewers cooking full pizzas and whole chickens didn’t report room to spare, so measure your specific pan against that before assuming it’ll fit.

Does the quarter-inch door gap waste a lot of energy?

It’s noticeable if you’re holding a precise low temperature, but most reviewers running normal bake, roast, and air-fry settings didn’t flag it as a reason to return the unit. It’s a real trade-off, not a dealbreaker for most uses.

The bottom line

At $89 for a 1700-watt, 24-liter combo backed by 3,516 reviews averaging 4.4 stars, Gourmia’s French Door model is one of the better deals in its size class. It won’t out-rate the pricier Ninja models, and it isn’t as tightly sealed as some drop-door competitors, but for the specific job of replacing three single-purpose appliances with one, it’s hard to find a cheaper option with this much interior space and this much review volume behind it.

Prices, ratings, and review counts reflect Walmart.com at the time this article was published and can change. We use publicly available product listings and verified-purchase review data rather than in-house lab testing for this category; where a claim (like the FryForce 360 fat-reduction figure) comes from the manufacturer, we say so.
